Q. How to open an account

To take advantage of the services at Rareflix.com, you must first open an account with us. You must be 18 years of age or older, have an e-mail address and a valid credit card. There's no membership fee or commitment. Simply go to My Account and choose a user name and password to create an account. Be sure to fill out the long form which includes necessary address and credit card information.

Q. How to manage an account

Once you create an account, you can track your orders as well as purchase items. Use your My Account page to change your membership information including your password, email address, shipping address and credit card informtaion.

Q. What is a Wish List?

Your Wish List is a customized list of the items you want to purchase. If a item is not in stock, you can place it in your Wishlist. As soon as the item comes into stock an email will be sent to notify you. You are under no obligation to purchase an item by placing it in your Wishlist.

Q. How long will it take to get my order?

Orders are sent via UPS ground and usually arrive within 2-4 days. If you are using a P.O. Box, your order will be sent via the postal system. Some orders will take longer than four days to arrive becuase of unforseen delays. You can choose alternative methods of shipping via the order form.

Q. What is your shipping policy?

Orders received by 12:00PM (Eastern Standard Time) are shipped out the same day. Orders received after 12:00PM, on weekends or holidays are shipped on the next business day. Rareflix.com will automatically send you an email confirming your shipment as soon as your order is placed. Orders are sent via UPS ground and usually arrive within 2-4 days. If you are using a P.O. Box, your order will be delivered via the postal system. Some orders will take longer than four days to arrive becuase of unforseen delays. You can choose alternative methods of shipping via the order form.

The higher of per shipment or per item shipping fee applies.

Q. It's been four days since I received my shipping confirmation email, but my order has not arrived. What should I do?

If a delivery delay occurs and you do not receive your order within four days, email us immediately. For orders sent via UPS Ground, we will track the order via the UPS system. For orders sent to a P.O. Box via the postal system, we will need to do an investigation with the post office. Please understand if you decide to send your order to a P.O. Box, you assume the risks of using a system that can not supply tracking information.

Q. I need my order by a certain date. Can it be guranteed?

Rareflix.com can not gurantee delivery via our standard service. We do offer alternative shipping methods for an additional cost.

Q. What do WAIT, NOT AVAILABLE or COMING mean?

  1. Available Now: We have copies of this title available for immediate shipment.
  2. Wait: This title is in demand and we will ship it as soon as it becomes available.
  3. Coming: We do not have this title availale for purchase, but it will be part of our inventory soon.
Q. I am looking for a certain item and Rarefllix.com doesn't appear to have it.?
Rareflix.com is committed to having in stock the hard to find DVDs and related merchandise that you can not find in your local video rental store. Please email us at support@rareflix.com and we will see if we can get it in for the near future.

Q. Is my personal information secure?

Rareflix.com is coimmitted to protecting your privacy. The information we collect about you is used to process orders. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

Q. What about cookies?

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive such as your username. Rareflix.com does not use cookies.

Q. Do I have to pay if a order is lost and it's not my fault?

Rareflix.com uses UPS to ship order because it has a tracking system. We do, however recognize that an order may get lost through no fault of the customer. We will use every effort to get the shipment corrected. If you are using a P.O. Box we must use the postal system which is very difficult to track and correct. You assume the risk of shipping to a P.O. Box. When reviewing each case we will take into consideration the amount of past business you have done with Rareflix.com.
